Chris & Sarah’s younger son Kieran was 2 yesterday and we were honoured to be on the guest list for his birthday BBQ Tea. I think that’s our 4th BBQ in less than our first week, but I’m not complaining at all. One delicacy this time round was a really tasty sausage, but with an unusual ingredient, Maple Syrup. I probably wouldn’t have tried it if I’d known, but it was absolutely delicious. One of the Highland Cake Ladies made a Canadian debut Rainbow Sponge Cake for the occasion too!! Kieran is such a cute little guy, but packs a mean high five already.
It's funny to think that a year ago we were celebrating Kieran's 1st birthday here in Scotland with some little monster cakes baked by another "Highland Lady"!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIERAN!!
