Ravi Zacharias

Further to my last post, the preaching workshop with Ravi Zacharias at Tyndale Seminary was fantastic. For those of you in Inverness who may not have heard of him, he’s an evangelist in the same style as Louis Palau who was in Inverness last year. In fact, I’d even say he looked similar too. He spend some time giving us the picture of worldwide evangelism today and giving encouragement that Canada’s truly multi-cultural demographic, in the country but particularly in the church, gives Canadians a unique opportunity to share the gospel with non-western cultures around the world. There was also a sermon and worship too, but to be honest, I’m writing this on Sunday and the event was on Thursday evening, so my memory of all that was said is a little vague now. I was able to record the whole thing so I can go back to it again later. You can check out his website http://www.rzim.org
I know it shouldn’t be, but one of the major highlights of the evening was a stop off (at 10:30pm) at Dairy Queen for an absolutely heavenly ice cream experience called a Blizzard. I had a mint Oreo one which I made very short work of. I’ll definitely be visiting there again before long.
